Moog Muse "Luna" Presets Overview

With over twenty pads and textures, one focus of the Moog Muse sound pack is on atmospheric sounds. These range from soft string sounds to background atmospheres, to complex textures for Ambient or IDM.

Fat basses and leads for Melodic Techno or Electronica are also part of the selection, as well as numerous arpeggiator sounds and an extensive selection of combos. The sound pack is rounded off with six dub chords, ideal as a foundation for authentic Dub Techno.

Timbres and Combos – more than 64 presets

Each preset consists of two individual sounds (timbres) that can be played either alone or combined. Plus, many of the presets are not just simple variations of the first timbre but complete new creations that complement the original sound. In other words, the LUNA sound pack contains over 100 individual timbres: switching between them is definitely worth it.

Controller assignments: Modwheel, Aftertouch, and Macro

To play the Moog Muse presets expressively, the Modwheel, Aftertouch, and Macro controller have been assigned to different parameters. These assignments have been optimized for the sound characteristics of each preset and offer much more than just simple Modwheel vibrato.
