Silicate is a sound pack for Sequential's famous Prophet-Series. This collection includes 40 Sequential Prophet 5 presets. Of course it's also compatible with Prophet 10 and the module versions, respectively. If you're producing Ambient, Techno or Electronica, this sound set might be for you.

Silicate includes 40 Sequential Prophet 5 Presets

  • Pads: 14
  • Bass: 11
  • Leads: 15

Silicate offers a total amount of 14 lush pads, 11 bass sounds, as well as 15 leads. The patches are reminiscent of artists and labels like Boards of Canada, Afterlife, Tycho or Aphex Twin. In other words, you can find a broad selection of sounds ranging from retro to modern but without focusing on the Prophet standards.

When creating this sound pack, we decided against another recreation of those classic 80s Prophet-Brass sounds or Pop-leads. Instead, these patches also show the more experimental site of Prophet. But always keeping the user in focus, meaning that these patches have been created with the musical usage in mind rather than being just a feature showoff.

Easy Installation

Silicate Sound Pack for Sequential Prophet 5 Rev 4 is shipped in the industry-standard sysex format. In order to install the presets, just connect your Sequential Prophet 5 Rev 4 with your computer, select the USB Port in your SysEx-librarian, and transfer the included file.

All soundsets, samples, instruments, and presets from Limbic Bits are royalty-free and can be used for commercial or non-commercial music production, film scoring, game audio, and similar creative applications.


You are free to release, distribute, and perform works created using these sounds in any medium.

  • Resell, share, or distribute any Limbic Bits products or sound files in their original or derivative form.
  • Use any part of the content to create competing sound libraries, sample packs, or synthesizer presets.
