Waldorf Iridium Presets - Sound Design

As sound designer, I've obviously enjoyed to use of the vast features Iridium offers. Therefore, you'll get a wide range of different sounds using the synth engines extensively.

At the same time, one of the main goals was to create a sound pack with presets for Iridium that you can actually use in your productions. Not only a feature-laden show off that sounds nice in the beginning, but useless when it comes to making music.

For Live and Studio

In order to play sounds expressively, the most relevant parameters are assigned to aftertouch, velocity, and mod wheel. But instead of limiting to that standard modwheel-controls-vibrato-assignment you'll discover presets that completely transform by turning the mod-wheel. So in combination with aftertouch and velocity you'll be able to easily create exciting sonic landscapes.

Easy installation

Before installing the Waldorf Iridium Presets, please make sure that you're using the latest firmware version. You can download it here.

In order to install the Hibernation patches for Waldorf Iridium and Quantum, just copy the downloaded folder to a Micro SD Card or an external USB Drive. Open the "Load" menu and choose "Actions" followed by clicking on "Import".

Now select your Micro SD Card or USB Drive. Navigate to the folder "Limbic_Bits_Hibernation" and select it. Next, enter the number of the first slot where the files should be imported to and press "Import".
